Lee Barrett

An FA qualified coach with over 16 years of coaching experience in a range of sports, working with young people and adults of all abilities.

Passionate and committed to delivering and developing structured sports opportunities to young people. Lee is a full time PE teacher at Chase Lane Primary School & is also an avid Newcastle United fan.  

Mike Burgoyne

"Mr B" is an FA qualified Football Coach with over 11 years coaching experience with young people from the ages 3 to 19 years old, developing and delivering sports opportunities for younger people. Mike teaches PE at Kirby, Tendring & Frobisher Primary Schools & is also training to be a PT instructor. He is also a massive West Ham United fan.         

Neil French

'Frenchy' is an FA licensed coach, and has been coaching various sports in primary schools since 2007. He's also been a member of Gt Bentley FC since 1988 where he has played, managed and coached. He currently plays for the veterans side & has just finished coaching the u18s, ending a 12 year stint with the youth set up. He was also nominated for the 'Outstanding Contribution to Community Football' award by the Essex FA and shortlisted in the final 3 in 2013.

Jack French

Frenchys son Jack has been assisting the X3 boys since they started, learning coaching drills & techniques along the way. Jack is currently studying 'A' levels at the Sixth Form College in Colchester, one of which being Sports Coaching.

He is a valuable member of the team & is very popular amongst the youngsters who attend their sessions. He plays in goal for Gt Bentley 'A' team in the mens E&S Border League Div 4 & is a huge Liverpool fan.
